Goal Setting & Evaluating

Updated: Sep 13, 2020

It’s necessary to stop and re-evaluate goals and progress from time to time. In fact, it is healthy to do so!

Which is what I did recently…

I previously ran elsiebea dot org page launched in September 2017. I laid it to rest today.

I have excellent goals and I realized I was trying to make those goals happen all at once. I found it necessary to take a step back and evaluate & write down my steps towards goal progression.

It was a valuable learning experience. Web hosting was a bit more than I could juggle for now, so I opted for a free WordPress page. (Can’t beat free!)

I have always loved writing. Writing poetry in particular. Something only those closest to me know & still not all of my closest circles knew.

Everyone knows now!

I mustered the courage to begin sharing my poetry with the world. I began sharing on Medium in January this year. My intention is for the reader to be blessed & enriched in some way by reading. If that happens even just for one person then I am enriched & blessed as well.

Currently, I have combined a collection of my poems together in a book with plans to self publish. Two more books after that in progress.

Wading into the world of publishing is a significant learning experience for me…and I love it! I have SO much to learn!

I’m excited to make more and stronger connections in the writing and poetry communities. I will be posting ways to connect in a post to follow.

Thanks for reading!
